Patricia N. McKenzie, RN is a dedicated nurse and passionate storyteller who believes in using literature to teach young children valuable life lessons. Combining her background in healthcare with her love of storytelling, Patricia’s books aim to inspire compassion, resilience, and positive values in young readers. Patricia is a nurse who worked in the Step-Down Cardiac Unit for over 18 years. She comes from a very large Jamaican family in which her father Dudley and her mother Beryl McKenzie always advocated love, respect and care for others. Love of nature and creative writing has always been her quiet passions. Patricia is therefore following her dreams. “ERMA THE GARDEN LIZARD” and " THE BABY SQUIRREL AND THE HUNGRY CAT" are the first of several upcoming children's books to be released.
