Patricia Watts lived in Alaska for more than two decades, raising her children and working as a journalist and a human rights investigator. "Paper Targets," a story of violence and friendship set in Texas, was released in 2022. "Ghost Light," an Alaska crime mystery, is a collaboration with Alaska writer, Stan Jones. "The Frayer," a noir suspense novel by Watts, features a living Alaska apartment building plunged into a duel to the death when a cunning and seductive tenant moves in. "The Big Empty," published in December 2018, is a collaboration with Alaska mystery novelist, Stan Jones. Watts's "Watchdogs," a provocative mystery-romance, is set in Fairbanks, the land of the midnight sun and a collection of quirky characters. Watts is now based in San Diego.
