Patrick Bex

Patrick Bex (he/him; real name Patrick Bergen) is an aromantic and asexual poet, content creator, educator, and advocate known by his social media handle Fluently Aspec. In addition to his writing and content creation, Patrick has also been involved in promoting aromantic and asexual awareness and education, most notably in his home state of Wisconsin. In 2022, he successfully petitioned for the state’s first proclamation of Ace Week, making Wisconsin the eighth state to recognize this event.
