Patrick McHugh

Patrick McHugh was born in Detroit and enjoyed his childhood making comics for the school newspaper featuring his original superheroes Banana Man, Captain Cucumber and Terrible Tomato. A self-taught artist, he’s been writing and producing award-winning children’s advertising for over 20 years. He is best known for his television commercials featuring drag racing chimpanzees, a pool-hopping unicorn, and dancing hotdogs. He lives on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard with his wife, two daughters and two dogs. Someday, he hopes to have his own pet potbelly pig.
