关于作者

I grew up on a farm in Mitchell County, GA. My Dad was a sharecropper. Times may have been hard, but I did not realize it since we always had what was needed. I was the fifth child born to the family of seven children. On the farm, everyone worked in the field and the garden. I look back on those times, and I cherish each memory of my family, but not necessarily the field and garden work! Funny but growing up, we never had any pets. There just wasn’t money for them. I never gave that a second thought. Skipping on to later in life, my husband, Jerry, surprised me one day with a bunny for Easter. I instantly became attached to Bunny Rabbit and soon added Jack so he would have a playmate. I made notes about things that I learned about them, and I took lots of photos. In 2008 after I retired, I wrote about them in a series called “My Hare Line”.
