Patty Lennox

Patty Lennox first wrote the outline for Can You Find My Shoe? when she was in fourth grade. Over 50 years later it became an actual book you can hold. The story stuck with her through all those years, maybe because of the rhyming, or maybe it was because kids constantly wanted to hear the story over and over again. Before publishing her story, her years were filled with work, building houses, and raising children. Memories were made from adventuring, painting, and sailing with her family. Her enduring love of animals inspired her to finally publish her story. Now her book is read by children all over the world, providing humor, helping reluctant readers and raising kids' awareness about compassion and empathy.
