Paul Henry Devoti's career is defined by his Peace Corps Experience in the indigenous pottery village of San Juan de Oriente, Nicaragua. Upon completion of his Peace Corps service in 1998 he developed and artist exchange program when clay artisans of the village would visit North Carolina where Devoti lived in order to participate in art expositions around the USA.
