Paul L. Gay

Paul L. Gay is a licensed land surveyor and practicing attorney. Paul has been in practice for more than 35 years. He has specialized in boundary surveying and real property law, including boundary disputes, easements, adverse possession, forensic surveying, real estate contracts and numerous other issues relating to real property. Paul developed and teaches a college course on the legal aspects of boundary surveying. He has served as an expert witness in trials from the east coast to Alaska. He has authored several books on boundary surveying including "Fundamentals of Boundary Surveying", 2002, "Practical Boundary Surveying" Springer Science Publishing, 2015, "Land Surveying Simplified" 2nd ed., "Land Surveying Mathematics Simplified", 2nd Ed., and, most recently, "Boundary Surveying in the Metes and Bounds States". He has also begun a series of books on wind turbine technology and has published the first in a series of books on the subject entitled "Wind Turbine Technology, Aerodynamics". Paul is also a pilot and holds an Airline Transport Certificate along with flight instructor certificates. He is also licensed by the FAA as a drone pilot and has used drones in his buisness for aerial mapping projects. He is also a licensed real estate broker. In addition to his legal and surveying activities Paul also holds a graduate degree in Geological Sciences from Brown University.
