Paul O'Donnell

Paul O'Donnell was born at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. and worked as an altar boy, newspaper editor, bicycle repairman, and janitor by the time he graduated his all-boys high school in New York. After college in the Midwest, he funded his travels with stints as an advertising writer before settling into a career in journalism. A veteran of Newsweek, Conde Nast Publications and Beliefnet.com, Paul is an editor at Washingtonian magazine.
