Paul Chace

关于作者

Born in Massachusetts in 1965, I grew up with a deep appreciation for service and adventure. In June 1988, I answered the call to duty by enlisting in the Army, where I proudly served for over 20 years, including two tours in Iraq. The challenges and camaraderie of military life shaped my resilience, leadership, and unwavering commitment to helping others. After retiring from the Army, I channeled my passion for mentorship into education, spending 16 years guiding and inspiring students. For the last nine years of my teaching career, I worked as a Junior High Special Education Teacher, where I found immense fulfillment in supporting students as they overcame obstacles and reached their full potential. Now retired and new to the author industry, I reside in San Antonio Texas. I share my passion for storytelling with my publisher/illustrator and the love of my life, Kathryn. We have two vivacious dogs who brings us laughter and joy daily. Together we bring my love of creativity to life through Butterscotch the Pirate and Friends, an adventurous, humorous, and heartfelt book series for young readers. My journey has been one of service, learning, and creativity—and I’m just getting started!
