Paula Broussard is a journalist and screenwriter. A former newspaper reporter, she has also written extensively on dance for such publications as Dance Magazine, LA Weekly, Dance Spirit, and Dance Teacher as well as hundreds of narrative scripts for the blind during a tenure at WGBH. She holds a BA in mass media/communications from Chapman University with a minor in dance and also studied French at the University of Paris, Sorbonne. She writes about her foremost passions -- the classic Hollywood era, dance, and mysteries. Her current writing projects include a true crime book about her family's 1920s murder mystery, and a biography of the tap dancing Nicholas Brothers (to be published by University Press of Kentucky).
