Paula Clayton has worked in elite sport for over 20 years as the senior physical therapist in Premiership and Championship football and for the English Institute of Sport and British Athletics. Having travelled extensively to Olympic Games (Athens, Beijing & London), Commonwealth Games, World and European Championships with GB track and field as part of the medical team Paula is highly experienced and shares this experience with you in all of her books. As well as her experience in elite sport: Paula also has three sports injury clinics; works for BMI hospital as an advanced clinical specialist physio, heading up their sports injury department; is the elite sport director for the SMA (Association for Soft Tissue Therapists); Is the MDT coordinator for Sports Injury Fix and talks both nationally and internationally at conferences. Paula's outside interests include: scuba diving, skiing, spending time with her three children, husband, family and friends. Member of the Health Care Professions Council, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Sports Massage Association (Director), The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine.
