Born in the San Francisco Bay Area East Bay in 1962. Raised in Newark, California in Alameda County. Spent ten years in Sonoma County where she attended Santa Rosa Junior College and earned her AS/and Small PC Technician Certificate. During this time, she honed her Historical Society skills with the Cloverdale Historical Society where she sat on the board. She ran her own computer consultant company and worked other jobs to support her young family as a single mother. Computer Consultant, Website Designer, Goddess of Geek, Former President of Douglas County Historical Society, Editor, author, & lay-out artist of the Umpqua Trapper for about 10 years. Mother of Four, Student at Oregon State University. Survivor in more than one way. She still lives in Tricity on a place that sits atop a section of the old Applegate Trail. She dreams about starting an Airbnb since she lives only four miles from 7 Feathers Casino. The business will include the ability to house people’s pets. She hopes this business will pay for the house and someone to care for a ½ acre of landscaping. She believes in self responsibility, self-integrity, and self-care. Honesty, compassion and empathy are her rule of law. Protecting women and children from any type of abuse is her lifelong ambition. She hopes to obtain a BS at Oregon State University with a major in History and a minor in Women’s Studies and use that knowledge to further two loves – History and Women.
