Peggy Tillman

Peggy Larson Tillman wrote two books on Human Factors/Ergonomics; designing machines and environments to fit humans. Peggy Tillman also worked for many years as an elementary school teacher. She discovered clicker training in 1996 when she acquired her standard poodle, Charles. Clicker training fit exactly with her concept of how children should be treated - fairly, and with lots of opportunities to succeed. Charles endorsed the clicker approach and Peggy went on to teach classes to pet owners. Peggy originally wrote and illustrated "Clicking With Your Dog" as her classroom instruction manual, but soon discovered that there was a need to make it available for all people interested in finding a fun way to teach.
