Penny Haw

Penny Haw is the author of the biographical historical fiction, The Invincible Miss Cust, The Woman at the Wheel, and (due for publication on February 25, 2025) Follow Me to Africa. She was the recipient of the 2024 Philida Literary Award for her 'oeuvre of literary excellence'. In 2022, her contemporary fiction, The Wilderness Between Us won the WFWA Star Award. Before turning to fiction, Penny was a journalist and columnist with bylines in many of South Africa's leading newspapers and magazines. She lives with her husband and three dogs between the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean near Cape Town, South Africa.
