Peter M Abraham

Peter Abraham, BSN, RN, is a seasoned nurse committed to supporting nurses, caregivers, families, and patients in their learning, growth, and well-being journey. Peter’s nursing career includes hands-on experience as a cardiac telemetry nurse in a busy cardiology unit at a Magnet-awarded teaching hospital. He has also been a second-shift RN supervisor, managing a building in a Skilled Nursing Facility/Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC) setting with 151 residents. Impressively, during the initial wave of COVID-19, the facility achieved an almost 100% recovery rate before Operation Warp Speed was completed. Additionally, Peter’s nursing career extends to rural home hospice care. As a visiting hospice registered nurse case manager, he provides compassionate care to patients in various settings, including private homes, personal care homes, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals. When Peter is not working or writing, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and their two rescue dogs.
