Before retiring from the active practice of law at age 52 to sail around the globe on a mega yacht and write books, Peter Antonucci was a commercial litigator in the New York City offices of two of the largest law firms in the world. He served as national counsel in hundreds of class action consumer fraud and pharmaceutical liability cases, published over three dozen professional articles, one book (on punitive damages), and numerous chapters in other legal periodicals. In 2012, Peter was awarded the American Bar Association's Sen. Edmund S. Muskie Lifetime Pro Bono Service Award. Peter has visited over 100 countries, traveled to Antarctica three consecutive years, and holds a Guinness Book of World Records certificate for having been a part-owner and passenger of a boat that traveled to 78°43’-99.7” S, 163° 41’ 42.1” W in 2017, the southernmost point ever reached by a vessel, surpassing the previous records set by Amundsen, Shackleton, Ross, Scott and Hillary, his heroes of Antarctic exploration.
