Peter Coe

I am a retired academic and architect....now a painter and a writer. I live and work in deepest Somerset. I love doing the research work and background reading when writing a book. This one came from my first hand experience of the places mentioned and remembering the local colour. When remembering that I also remember the restaurants, food and wines. I can't help describing these and sometimes think I have hit on a new genre - GastroCrime. I am writing a sequel with Sam Redwood and Julia Tremaine in Tuscany helping the Policia di Stato di Siena and it is a treat to revisit in writing the wonderful hill towns and landscape of Tuscany. And the food and wines !
