Dr Peter L. Falkingham is a Reader in Vertebrate Biology at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. In 2003 he was awarded a BSc in Biology and Geology from the University of Bristol, and a year later an MSc in Computer Science from that same institution. He then went on to carry out a PhD at the University of Manchester on Computer Simulation of Dinosaur Tracks, which he completed in 2010. In 2012, Peter was awarded a Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellowship which he held at the Royal Veterinary College, London, and Brown University, USA. Falkingham's research has primarily concerned dinosaur footprints, but has also covered body mass evolution, animal hydrodynamics, and digitization methods.
