From early days in radio, copy-writing and marketing, Philip Hunt joined World Vision Australia in 1976 and rose to lead World Vision in Hong Kong, Australia and the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Returning to Australia in 2001. Philip enjoyed ventures in consulting, and then in leading organisational recovery and change in Deakin University Student Association and Foodbank Victoria. In the early 21st century, Philip was active in governance roles with Melbourne City Mission, TWR Australia, and Light-FM (now Positive Media). Philip and Judy Hunt retired to Warrnambool in South-West Victoria in 2010, but Philip was invited back to a two-year general management role at Bayside Church, Cheltenham in 2019. In 2021, Philip and Judy returned to Warrnambool for their second retirement.
