Philipp Erich Mahler (also known as Sītānātha) is an independent researcher specializing in symbolism, Vedic scriptures, as well as spiritual and occult topics. Born in Switzerland in 1991, he now resides in Kaunas, Lithuania, with his family. Before he married, he spent several years as a monk in various monasteries (āśramas) across Europe and India. Always found of books, it was the spiritual and occult texts which he truly felt in love with. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, nature and reading. Mahler sees himself as conservative in the true sense of the word, as a preserver of knowledge, meaning to conserve (ancient) knowledge for future generations. His books not only strive to unveil mysteries but, more importantly, to safeguard ancient knowledge, particularly spiritual and metaphysical insights that are often overlooked. He adopts a holistic perspective that transcends the materialistic focus of mainstream academia. Despite an unconventional approach, he emphasizes the seriousness and significance of his work, addressing gaps in the modern scientific worldview that often neglect crucial aspects. His works are born out of pure idealism and dedication. The research is extensive and often costly, requiring rare and specialized literature. Nevertheless, he views this endeavor as his dharma and life mission.
