pierre bélanger (he/him/they) is landscape architect based in Boston. He is Co-Director of OPEN SYSTEMS (https://nodesignonstolen.land/), a non-profit 501c3 research organization founded with Ghazal Jafari, Tiffany Kaewen Dang, Hernán Bianchi-Benguria, and Alexander Arroyo. From books and pamphlets, to exhibitions and short films, they have collaborated on and contributed to a range of projects including A Botany of Violence (2022), White Skin, White Walls, White Lies (2022), La Flora del Futuro (2021), No Design on Stolen Land (2020), Confronting Columbus (2020), Extraction Empire (2018), Landscape as Infrastructure (2016), The Missing 400 (2016), Venice Architecture Biennale (2016), Going Live (2015), and Ecologies of Power (2016).
