(Children's story writer) Pip Jones

Pip lives in the West of England, with her partner and two children. Pip's prize-winning rhyming series about Squishy McFluff: The Invisible Cat! was inspired by her daughter, who discovered her own imaginary kitten as a toddler. Piggy Handsome, the first in a new 7+ series, was the Observer Children's Book of the Week in August 2017. Pip also writes picture books: the Ruby Roo Story Collection includes Daddy's Sandwich (shortlisted in the 2015 Sainsbury's Children's Book Awards), The Chocolate Monster and Quick, Barney… RUN! And Izzy Gizmo is an inspiring tale about a little girl inventor, written in rhyme. It was shortlisted in the 2017 Sainsbury's Children's Book Awards.
