Poppy David

Poppy David is a writer based in London. She spent her childhood in deepest West Country, where she had adventures on her rescue pony, climbed too many trees, and read hundreds of books. She graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2011 and from the Courtauld Institute of Art in 2012, with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Art History. This led her initially to Christie's auction house, and then to arts publisher Thames & Hudson. She has been a mentor for the Society of Young Publishers, and takes part every year in the 'Working in Publishing' speaking event for the Publishing Master's programme at Oxford Brookes University. She is the author of A Natural History of Magick, a compendium of all things magical, and is currently working on her debut middle-grade novel.
