Pranay Gupta, CFA, Allocationmetrics Limited (www.allocationmetrics.com) Pranay Gupta has over 25 years of experience is managing every liquid asset class across global markets. He was previously the Chief Investment Officer at Lombard Odier and ING Investment Management Asia Pacific, where he led investment teams across 12 countries. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Axial Investment Management in London, APG Investments in the Netherlands, Societe Generale in Hong Kong and JP Morgan Investment Management in Singapore and New York. Pranay serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Nanyang Technological University where he teaches officials from government regulators, sovereign funds and pensions frpom across the world on reserve management and fintech. Pranay has helped direct the curriculum of the CFA Program on asset allocation, portfolio management and alternatives and has served as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of the CFA Institute Research Foundation. He holds an MBA in Finance from XLRI India, Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and is a CFA Charter holder. His first book “Multi-Asset Investing: A Practitioner’s Framework”, proposes that the fundamental structure of institutional and individuals’ portfolios needs to evolve from single asset class active management, toward a multi-asset class allocation framework. His new book "Fintech: the new DNA of Financial Services" examines the progressive integration of quantitative techniques and financial technology into every aspect of the financial services ecosystem.
