Prudence Acirokop

Prudence Acirokop was born in Gulu, Uganda. She is an accomplished human rights lawyer specialising in child rights. She has worked in several conflict situations, including Uganda, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Ghana, South Sudan, Ethiopia, the Gambia, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, and Bangladesh. She understands the power of storytelling, even in grim circumstances, and finds joy in sharing this magic. Prudence lives in a charming farming village in northern Uganda when she is not immersed in her work. She enjoys leisurely walks in the wilderness, reading, and occasionally writing. The captivating birds in Uganda's wilderness inspired her to create "A Party at a Mansion and Other Stories," her first published children's storybook.
