R Rorik is an ardent Norse mythology enthusiast who has a lifelong passion for the myth genre. The Holy Bible was never his bible; mythology always was. He’s written various books for people, including best-selling books on Amazon. He’s under contract not to talk about or they might put his head on a pike. His journey into the world of The Vikings began before he was even born. Two houses from his Dad’s childhood house was a man coincidentally named Leif Erikson. His son Eddie his dad played with. From his formative years and his dad's guidance, he began to learn about Leif the Lucky and Viking culture. Rorik began writing about the Vikings starting with Leif Erikson in elementary school. He was fascinated to learn how he discovered America 500 years before Columbus. He also happens to have people named Thor in his family. From that point on, through his adult years, he began to develop a fascination for J.R.R. Tolkien and his seminal books. Tolkien spearheaded him onward into artistic endeavors for fiction writing, world-building, poetry, and Celtic design. Under other pen names, he has various contest placements for his achievements in writing. A year ago, he had a literary agent for his craft. But his real passion is for the Hero’s Journey etched in legends of yore. From Poetic Edda and Prose Edda to the endless stories about his love for the Viking's culture. He looks to voyage into it even further into the waters of Scandinavia.
