R. A. Spence

My name is R. A. Spence and this is my first book, Empty, Patchy, Beard. After reading and listening to 100's of books over the years, One day I had a thought, "Hey I can do that too!" So I started on this silly book about a kid who really wants his dad to grow a beard and will do just about anything to make it happen. Ricky, is the main character. He is a kid who loves to learn, ask questions, play jokes and dream big. Just like me. This book is great for families and it introduces a few characters from my real life who have been very special to me.
