R. Shannon’s novels are Catholic and Christian friendly and feature an ensemble of interesting characters. The stories are written in a slice-of-life style with light humor, biblical morality, and heart. She was born and raised in New Jersey and has lived in Florida for over 25 years. She recently moved to Central Florida which is the backdrop for many of her fiction novels. Regina retired in 2023 from a few different careers: Initially, she was a court reporter, then a legal assistant for several years and then founded her own freelance website design company. For several years, she was a doll sculptor and owned a website business called White Gothic Studios. She retired from web coding in 2023 and now she blogs at ReadFirstChapter and continues writing fiction book series.
