R. Yeung

R. Yeung is a preschool teacher turned nanny turned stay-at-home mother. She is also a lifelong lover of children's literature! As a child, she read any book she could get her hands on; as an adult, she grew a little more discerning in her tastes, but her passion for kids' books never waned; as a teacher and nanny, she loved finding new (or rediscovering old!) children's books to excite, amuse, teach, delight, challenge, and otherwise engage the children in her care. Finally, after becoming a mother, she made her first foray into writing children's books with Kiki & Papa go to the Moon, inspired by her husband and daughter's tightknit bond. More books are in the works and R. Yeung hopes each one will inspire joy as they bring parents and children together to laugh and learn. Ultimately though, her hopes for her books are the same as her hopes for her life--that they will bring glory to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
