Rachel Kovacs

Rachel Kovacs is the imaginative mind behind the delightful Ms. Raqui's Classroom series. With a B.S. in K-12 education and not one, but three master’s degrees in Library Science, Educational Leadership, and Instructional Design, Rachel is a powerhouse of knowledge and creativity. After 16 years of inspiring young minds in the classroom, she transitioned to adult education, teaching writing and computer science to undergraduates. Rachel then spent over a decade as an independent instructional designer, only to realize her heart yearned for her "Littles." Now, she’s back to her roots, working with special needs elementary students, penning whimsical children’s books, and crafting invaluable resources for parents and teachers. When she's not creating educational magic, Rachel is a proud mom to two children, three mischievous cats, and one exceptionally sassy bird.
