Rachel Lindsay

Rachel Lindsay is the creative force behind Caked by Rach on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, where she shares her clever cupcake creations with over 3 million fans worldwide. Rachel discovered her love for baking and decorating cakes in 2012 when she made her son’s christening cake. She enjoyed it so much that she started creating cakes for just about any occasion you can think of. She started with fondant-covered cakes with handmade figures on top but would spend hours baking and decorating cakes. As her family grew, life got busy and there was no time for cake decorating. But in 2020, she felt she was missing something creative and it was then that she discovered her love for creating cupcakes. Her first attempts at using piping tips and buttercreams were disasters, but she persisted and practiced, and that was the start of Caked by Rach. Rachel was born and raised in Lancashire, UK, but currently resides in Perth, Western Australia with her husband and three children.
