Rachel Wolf is a veteran screenwriter who worked for 25 years in Hollywood, in both development and production within the film, television, and music industries. In addition, she enjoyed a decade as a well-revered cabaret singer. Ms. Wolf grew up in New Jersey where she worked as an actor and director in theater. She has been a personal assistant to several celebrities including Kurt Vonnegut, Majel Roddenberry, and Lorna Luft. Ms. Wolf is a classically-trained pianist and composer with influences steeped in musical theater. Along with six completed screenplays, her play CHOICES premiered on stage in June 2018. She has begun writing its companion piece (The Arrangement), and will pen the libretto for a project inspired by Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein." In October 2018, POE the musical had its world premiere staged readings in Oregon. Along with writing the book, music, and lyrics, Ms. Wolf produced, directed, and music directed the show. She also designed the posters and programs, sets, props, played the piano during the performances and even portrayed the Raven. In the summer of 2016, Rachel was the music director for a summer youth camp production of "Jungle Book" at the Corvallis Majestic Theatre in Oregon. She wrangled 50 kids with ages from 6-16, and taught them all the songs in two weeks. Back in 2004, Ms. Wolf directed and produced a sociopolitical talkumentary™ called "Six Character in Search of America." Rachel freelances as a writer and editor, and enjoys spending time with her BFF (best fur friend), Kona. "Music is the language of the heart and soul... language is the music of the mind."
