Raelyn Eastwood

Raelyn - Author, Veteran, Entrepreneur, and S.T.E.A.M Enthusiast Raelyn is a passionate advocate for S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) with a diverse background spanning veterinary science, agriculture, military service, and environmental research. Her journey into entrepreneurship began in October 2020 with a business specializing in WordPress website development, branding, and graphic design. However, her deep-rooted love for S.T.E.A.M led her to create My S.T.E.A.M Lifestyle and Little Genius Apparel, a brand dedicated to making unique S.T.E.A.M-inspired apparel and products more accessible. From her first job as a veterinary assistant in high school to her service as a Medical Food Inspection Specialist in the U.S. Army, Raelyn has always been immersed in science and innovation. She has held various roles, including Consumer Safety Inspector for the USDA FSIS, Field Plant Ecologist for the USDA NRCS SSD in Alaska, and veterinary technician at high-paced AAHA-accredited hospitals. Raelyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and aspires to pursue a Master's in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. Her mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators by bridging the gap between education and everyday life through engaging, S.T.E.A.M-focused content and products. Through her writing and entrepreneurial endeavors, Raelyn aims to ignite curiosity, empower young minds, and foster a love for discovery. Her two daughters have been her biggest inspiration.
