Ralph Yost

RALPH YOST has been conducting in-depth studies of the Bible for over 37 years. He is an ordained Elder at First Christian Church of Cape Coral Florida. He primarily teaches and writes about eschatology. In his first published Biblical work, "Salvation My Soul To Keep," he critically examines the view held by the majority of Evangelical Christian believers that once a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, their salvation is unconditionally secure (known as perseverance of the saints). In his second published Biblical work, "Daniel: Man of High Esteem," he critically examines what the scriptures tell us in the Book of Daniel, Daniel’s prophecies, and the prophecies about the return of Jesus Christ. He shows how the passages of Daniel are interconnected to the Olivet Discourse and the Book of Revelation. His third and fourth books are his commentary series on Paul's letters to the church at Thessalonica. In these two books, he critically examines the scriptures of 1 Thessalonians and 2 Thessalonians and their incredibly important eschatological message. He continues to demonstrate how Paul's eschatological writing interconnects, and is woven, into the Book of Daniel, the Olivet Discourse, and the Book of Revelation. In his fifth and most challenging book project thus far, "The Olive Discourse of Jesus Christ," Yost writes a detailed examination of the Olivet Discourse given by Jesus Christ. He covers the three accounts in the Gospels by Matthew, Mark and Luke. In doing so, he points out the similarities and differences, then explains why. The Olivet Discourse is an answer to the question “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” (Matt. 24:3). Professionally, Yost worked as an engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration for thirty three years performing testing, research and development of the air traffic control system, and was an aviation systems consultant. For years, Yost has published his professional work and has been a public speaker advocating Airborne Internet. He has been teaching and writing about the Bible for over 37 years. His engineering background makes him a detailed and thorough writer and teacher. His wife Celeste Yost is an accomplished author who has published numerous popular books. They live in Cape Coral Florida.
