关于作者

I grew up in the small rugged town of Grass Valley, California, nestled in the foothills of the towering Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. The wild and untamed landscape surrounding me fueled an intense passion for the great outdoors that burned deep within my soul. I longed for a life of adventure and exploration, idolizing legendary explorers like Jim Bridger and Hugh Glass who braved the unknown in pursuit of their dreams. Another inspiration to me was legendary Mountaineer, John Muir. Despite my quiet and introverted nature, I cherished my few friends and spent my school days lost in daydreams about traversing the vast and uncharted wilderness. Hunting and fishing became my greatest passions, and I would often venture into the mountains alone, guided only by the wisdom and teachings of my grandparents. Their words echoed in my mind as I trekked through the rugged terrain, always reminding me to respect and honor the natural world around me. After joining the army and eventually settling down in Pennsylvania, I found myself drawn to a career as a State Park Ranger. I married my soul mate, Michele, have 3 sons all young adults. Have since moved to Florida and bought a Jeep Wrangler. Now I explore trails on wheels as I am too old to venture into the wilds like I did before. Genesis 27:3- “Take your bow and a quiver full of arrows, and go out into the open country to hunt some wild game for me.” John Muir- “In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks. The mountains are calling and I must go."
