I let my doubts and fears hold me back, convincing myself I wasn't good enough. But not anymore. I refuse to let my fears dictate my life. I refuse to let my dreams slip away. However, now is the time for a leap of faith and check off this long-held desire from my bucket list. I am determined to chase my passions and dreams rather than work toward fulfilling someone else's ambitions. What better way to do so than by penning a book that draws inspiration from my personal experiences, infused with a touch of fiction and unexpected plot twists? I grew up in a small town nestled in the foothills of the towering Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. The wild and untamed landscape surrounding me fueled an intense passion for the great outdoors that burned deep within my soul. I longed for a life of adventure and exploration, idolizing legendary explorers like Jim Bridger and Hugh Glass. I was inspired by their bravery and determination to pursue their dreams in the face of the unknown. The legendary Mountaineer John Muir also captivated me with his love for nature and his dedication to preserving it. Despite my quiet and introverted nature, I cherished my few friends and spent my school days daydreaming about traversing the vast and uncharted wilderness. Hunting and fishing became my greatest passions, and I would often venture into the mountains alone, guided only by the wisdom and teachings of my grandparents. Their words echoed in my mind as I trekked through the rugged terrain, constantly reminding me to respect and honor the natural world. The crisp air and the sound of leaves crunching under my feet were my companions as I immersed myself in the beauty of nature. After joining the army and eventually settling in Pennsylvania, I found myself drawn to a career as a State Park Ranger. It was the perfect way to continue my love for the great outdoors and share it with others. I met my soul mate, Michele, and we started a family together. As my three sons have grown into young adults, I have moved to Florida. Florida life is the best life.
