Randi Druzin is an author and journalist in Toronto, Canada. She has worked at several major media outlets including the National Post and the CBC, and has written for dozens of publications including The New York Times, Time magazine, ESPN The Magazine and The Globe and Mail. Based first in Europe then in North America, Randi has covered events as diverse as former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright's visit to Prague and the Van Halen reunion tour. Randi has varied interests but specializes in sports. She has covered four Olympics and interviewed dozens of world-class athletes, including NHL stars Sidney Crosby and Jonathan Toews. Randi is the author of Between the Pipes, a new book that profiles a dozen legendary NHL netminders, honing in on the personality trait that makes each one unique. Her first book, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Women in Sports, traces the history of women's sports from antiquity to the present.
