Rania Abouzeid has won the Michael Kelly Award and George Polk Award for Foreign Reporting among many other prizes for international journalism. She has spent well over 15 years reporting from the Middle East and has written for The New Yorker, Time Magazine, Foreign Affairs, and a host of other outlets. The recipient of writing residencies at Yaddo and the Carey Institute, she has also received fellowships from New America, Columbia University’s Dart Center, and the European Council on Foreign Relations.
