Reed Willard is a writer, actor, and performer from Charlottesville, VA, who thoroughly enjoys his craft, as well as hiking and spending time with his family. As a professional actor, he has over a dozen film credits, which include movies, TV shows, and commercials. He has also performed in over two dozen professional theatre productions, as well as roles with Universal Studios Singapore, where he played the main villain in the Waterworld Stunt Show. As a hiker, Reed successfully thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail (Georgia to Maine, 2,189 miles) in 2015. It was a life-changing experience for him - one that he is reminded of on a daily basis. His hiking bucket list includes the Pacific Crest Trail, the Camino de Santiago, and the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage in Japan. As a writer, Reed has worked as a freelance editor, content writer, and travel blogger. Greater Than a Tourist - Charlottesville marks his first published book - the first of many, he promises. When he is not doing any of the above mentioned activities, he’s spending time with his wife and his beautiful daughter, Melly.
