Reema Datta is the founder of the Yogi’s Way, a holistic method that integrates movement, breathing, and consciousness practices with a focus on emotional well-being. Since 2002, she has taught yoga trainings and retreats in over twenty countries across five continents. Reema is coauthor of the book Sacred Sanskrit Words for Yoga, Chant, and Meditation and has two mantra albums released by Nettwerk Music. Born into a family deeply rooted in yoga tradition, she was first taught by her parents and grandparents. She is certified to teach Ashtanga yoga and Tibetan heart yoga and is an Ayurvedic therapist. A graduate of Vassar College and the London School of Economics, Reema left her career working for the United Nations in 2001. Her students include Sting, Edie Brickell, Paul Simon, Zainab Salbi, Sujatha Baliga, and thousands of other practitioners globally. Reema lives in Taos, New Mexico, with her daughter, Mila.
