Rena Hill

Hi! I'm Audra Rena Hill. Everyone knows me as Audra, but I'm using Rena as my pen name because I've always liked my middle name. I'm 53 years old and have been married for 33 years. Bobby and I have two adult children, Caleb and Rebecca. I'm still waiting on the grandchildren. I grew up the eldest daughter of a minister and, although I've seen hard times in life, I have been blessed beyond measure with good health, friends, and family. I have been teaching middle/high school mathematics for 31 years now. Although I absolutely love teaching math, I'm beginning to be very excited about retiring in the next few years. I've wanted to write books for a while now, and so I finally managed to publish my first book, Retirement Planning Simplified. I'm planning on writing children's books for math and maybe some Christian-based holiday books and coloring books. I also enjoy reading when I'm not working on a house project, which is often. So there you have it. I'm just a regular person trying to fulfill a dream of publishing books as I head into retirement from teaching.
