Revelation Enriquez Velunta is Professor of New Testament and Cultural Studies at Union Theological Seminary, Philippines. He also teaches New Testament at the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary. He has taught at the Council for World Mission School on Intersectional Ecotheology and Ecojustice Witness (SIEEW) in South Africa 2024 and in Zambia 2023, World Communion of Reformed Churches's Global Institute of Theology at Pacific Theological College (Fiji, 2023) Lutheran Theological Seminary (Hong Kong, 2019), Yu-Shan Theological College and Seminary (Taiwan, 2018), Teologiska Hogskolan Stockholm (Sweden, 2006 and 2011), and Vanderbilt University (USA, 1999-2002). He has also taught at Philippine Women’s University, Philippine Christian University (Manila and Dasmarinas campuses), and Southern Christian College. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California and Nostra Aetate Lecturer at the St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. He has also served as Lecturer in Scripture for the Obispo Maximo’s Continuing Ministerial Formation (CMF) program of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente and for the Bible in Context Seminar (BIC) and Summer Internship Program (SIP) of the National Council of Churches in the Philippines. Velunta has served as Administrative Pastor of the Cainta UCCP Disciples and as Student Chaplain at the NCCP Ecumenical Ministry at the Church of the Risen Lord at UP Diliman. Velunta did his graduate studies at Union Theological Seminary, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Vanderbilt University. He is part of the International Scholars Program of the Society of Biblical Literature.
