Author Richard M. Evans is the son of Colonel Ivor Parry Evans, ex-base commander of the Air Force base at Roswell, New Mexico. A remarkable photo on this page shows Col. Evans shaking hands with Major General Douglas Nelson, ex-commander of Area 51. (USAF Photo) Evans was born at the base hospital at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, TX. He and his sister were raised on and near nuclear bases for their whole childhood. They had very loving parents, but unfortunately often had to leave all friends behind due to their frequent moves. Richard’s family lived at the well-known Air Force base in Roswell on two separate occasions. Two of the houses they lived in were about 1,000 feet from the base hospital where witnesses said they had seen alien bodies! After almost 60 years of silence, Richard is telling the true story of his father’s career and what happened at the base in Roswell in 1947 in his new book: Roswell, Area 51, and God.
