Richard N. Villar

Richard Villar is an author, surgeon, International Mountain Leader, and highly popular motivational speaker. When not travelling, he is based between London and the Lake District (UK). Richard was formerly Regimental Medical Officer to the Special Air Service and has undertaken more than three decades of work in many of the world’s major conflict and disaster zones, and in at least 40 countries. As a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers, Richard is an established writer. His blog, Never a Straight Line (www.neverastraightline.com), is widely acclaimed.
