Bob Wolfson is a retired physician, healthcare administrator, and emeritus professor living in Lakewood, CO. He graduated from The Universty of Colorado, Boulder in 1974 and The University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1979. After completing his residency in General Surgery at the University of Colorado in 1984, he practiced General, Thoracic, and Trauma Surgery in the Denver area until the late 1990s. In 1997, Bob earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration (MSHA) from the University of Colorado's Executive Program. He subsequently served as an HMO Medical Director and led the Department of Information Systems at Denver Health Medical Center. In 2001, he founded Wolfson Consulting, Inc., a medical practice management consulting firm that provided services to physician practices and healthcare organizations throughout Colorado and Wyoming. From 2001 to 2018, Bob was an instructor in the University of Colorado's Health Administration Program, teaching graduate courses in Healthcare Systems and Strategic Management. He remains actively engaged with the university as an advisor to the Health Administration Research Council (HARC), advocating for research initiatives. Additionally, he collaborates with the Trauma Recovery Network at Saint Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO.
