Robert K. Cheong

Robert is the Pastor of Care at Sojourn Church Midtown, Louisville, KY. He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and earned a M.Div. and Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theology Seminary. He has a passion for equipping ministry leaders and members for discipleship and care through community. He also serves as Founder and Executive Director for Gospel Care Ministries. He is author of Restoration Story: Why Jesus Matters in a Broken World; Restore: Changing How You Live + Love and God Redeeming His Bride: A Handbook for Church Discipline. He enjoys life with Karen, his wife of 38years, along with their three grown children, two sons-in-law, and four adorable grandchildren.
