Robert Deshaies II

Robert Deshaies II is a poet, graphic novelist, and educator. As a Ph.D. Candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of Kent, Robert’s approach to writing consists of bending theme, genre, and archetype to capture impossible moments within the dynamic intersections of literature, art, and appearance. Inspired by the likes of Grant Morrison, Mary Shelley, Neil Gaiman, Kurt Vonnegut, Toni Morrison, T.S. Eliot, and more, Robert invests his time in literary fiction, poetry, graphic novels, and the overarching themes of eternity and desire.  To help with these thoughts, he fuels his days with coffee (and lots of it).  As an entrepreneur, he's started a publishing imprint, Rogue Comix, a publication designed to welcome new comic creators into the industry.
