Robert Santilli spent most of his career in the Philadelphia area before following his dream and moving to Crested Butte/Gunnison to enjoy the magic of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Whether hiking or mountain biking through the wildflowers, or skiing the extreme terrain, the beauty is only matched by the peace and joy of living. Rob was recognized as one of the most successful rural Healthcare leaders in the country. His leadership as CEO of Gunnison Valley Health led to their ranking as a top 100 Critical Access Hospital in the US 10 times before his retirement in 2022. As Sr. Executive V.P./COO of Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media Pa. for 27 years, he reshaped the Philadelphia healthcare landscape. He believed in imagining what healthcare could be and sharing a vision that the most talented providers wanted to follow. Now with time to enjoy his family and grandkids, he is continually amazed with the imagination of children. He finds writing children's books not just fun, but an opportunity to share messages to let kids dream and allow their imagination to thrive. With children as our future leaders, he really enjoys offering the motivation to succeed.
