Robert Schramm

Robert (Bob) Schramm was born in Toledo, Ohio and grew up in the Old South End near South and Broadway. Currently a mosquito control worker at the Toledo Area Sanitary District, Bob now resides in the rural farmlands near Liberty Center, Ohio. At the age of 10 he got a guitar for his birthday and has been trying his hand at music for going on some 50 years...but it was around this same time in 1975, that Bob and his brothers and friends in the neighborhood were caught up in a magical journey at the old Toledo Sports Arena in East Toledo. The Toledo Goaldiggers, an expansion team in the International Hockey League, were making an amazing run towards a totally improbable championship in April and May of that season...
